This year we are offering one training program for both Cross Country and Track & Field. Anyone who does not participate in another sport at Sunny Hills must join Cross Country in the Fall if they would like to join Track in the Spring. The Summer program will prepare student-athletes for both sports and the class will be added to your 6th period schedule.
You must be athletically cleared to participate in all Summer practice sessions. My recommendation is to schedule your physical appointment in late May or early June so it’s valid for the entire school year. Follow the steps on the school website to create an online account and upload your signed paperwork. Once submitted, you should receive an email from the school within 2-3 business days alerting you of approval or denial (with reasons stated).

Start & End Date: Monday 6/13/22 - Thursday 7/14/22
Morning Session: Monday - Thursday 6:30 - 8:00 am; Meet @ SH Weight Room
Evening Session: Monday - Thursday 5:30 - 7:00 pm; Meet @ SH Track
Location: All sessions start and end on-campus (we do run off-campus though)
Suggested Donation: $300.00 (includes T-shirt)
Please note that session times are subject to change. Newcomers can choose which practice session to attend. Returners can attend one or both sessions.
Your donation will help cover coaches' pay during the Summer in addition to program t-shirts, activities, regular season entry fees, equipment, and more. Please submit your donation prior to starting the program if possible. If you are not able to donate this Summer but still want to participate in practice sessions, reach out to Coach Holloway directly.
Donations can be made one of two ways:
- Submit online via the SHHS webstore (create an account first)
- Submit via cash or check (payable to Fullerton Joint Union HSD)
- Come dressed and ready to go. Locker rooms will not be available for item storage or changing (unless attending Summer school).
- Please bring a watch and water bottle at a minimum and plan to store your items in the shed during practice.
- We will start and end our practice sessions on time. Please arrive on time, you will be released on time.
